The Specialized Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at Al-Sayyab Teaching Hospital successfully performed a complex open-heart surgery on an 11-year-old child who was suffering from a ventricular septal defect (VSD) accompanied by aortic valve prolapse.

The hospital administration confirmed that the operation was successfully completed through the efforts of a specialized medical team. The patient is currently in a stable and good health condition.
